kṛpā kari’ kṛṣṇa more diyāchilā saṅga
svatantra kṛṣṇera icchā,–kailā saṅga-bhaṅga
“Being merciful upon Me, Krishna gave Me the association of Haridäsa Thakura. Being independent in His desires, He has now broken that association.”
(Caitanya-caritamrita, Antya 11.94)
My dear Srila Prabhupäda,
Please accept my prostrated obeisances at your divine lotus feet. All glories to Your Divine Grace!
You said the duty of the disciple is to inquire of the spiritual master. You have called your beloved servant to your lotus feet. By your divine grace, he was also our dearest friend and brother. How shall we live without him?
Now, having asked the question, I feel you have given the answer: by the same divine grace.
